Cincinnati Bengals @ Kansas City Chiefs - 07:00

Total Points Under 54.5 - Stake 2.5 Units, Minimum Odds 1.87, Best Book - Sportmarket

We have a total that is too high for a conference championship match. The Bengals have surprised me at every turn so far in the playoffs, however, playing a knockout match in the toughest stadium for away teams in the league will be a step too much for the Bengals. I would have liked to get to the spread on the Chiefs but it hit 7.5 and I just can’t get to the hook on the 7. The under here looks like a terrific play with most of the public money for this game likely to come on the over. The Bengals are going to struggle to put up points and move the ball in general. I see the Chiefs shutting down the run game early and putting together long methodical drives themselves that keep the clock ticking. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Chiefs with a 2:1 ratio in the time of possession stat at the end of this one.

Kelce SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.3, Best Book - Sportsbet

After an up and down season, Kelce has re-established himself as one of the premier offensive players in the league so far in the playoffs. Kelce has hit this line in both playoffs matches the Chiefs have played in this season and 4 of the last 5 go back to last season. Kelce gets a terrific matchup against the Bengals who gave up the 5th most receiving yards to tight ends and the 6th most touchdowns. Kelce turns it on in the playoffs.

Mixon SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.2, Best Book - BET365

Mixon has been used heavily in the passing game over the last 4 weeks as the Bengals have turned it on at the business end of the season. Mixon has always been a terrific dual-threat running back and will be even more crucial in the passing game this week as I expect the Bengals to be trailing for the majority of the match. Last week Burrow was sacked 9 times and Burrow will be used as an outlet this week to avoid a strong Kansas City pass rush. To match with the negative game script I expect the Bengals to be in, we have Mixon under rushing yards. This makes sense as the ball gets taken off the ground and sent through the air. Mixon has gone under this rushing total in 6 of his last 7 matches.

Chiefs/Bengals Combo SGM - Stake 0.5 Units, Minimum Odds 23, Best Book - BET365

San Francisco 49ers @ Los Angeles Rams - 10:30

49ers +3.5 - Stake 2.5 Units, Minimum Odds 1.87, Best Book - Topsport

The simple way to put this one is getting +3.5 in this matchup is just too good to turn down. The 49ers with Kyle Shannahan have bested Sean McVay and the Rams at every opportunity of their respective careers, holding a 6-0 record straight up. This divisional rivalry has generally been a close one for a long time and if we give the 49ers a line of +3.5, they would have outright won or covered the spread in a massive 26 of their last 30 matches against the Rams. The 49ers are going to come into this match full of confidence and on a brilliant streak that makes them look like potentially the best team in the NFL right now. Deebo Samuel is quickly moving to elite status on the offence and Nick Bosa is a perennial DPOY candidate. Getting the hook on the 3 here is just too good to pass up.

Kupp SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 2.8, Best Book - Sportsbet

Cooper Kupp established himself this season as one of the best receivers in the league and is Matthew Staffords safety blanket. Kupp will be heavily involved once again especially in a do or die situation. Kupp passed this yardage mark in both the previous matches against the 49ers this season and scored in 1 of those matches. Kupp will be the number 1 target in the red zone this week.

49ers Rushing SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.1, Best Book - BET365

The 49ers will be running the ball all day against the Rams. This has been their game plan to beat them for the last few years and it hasn’t failed yet. Both Elijah Mitchell and Deebo Samuel are elite runners in the outside zone running scheme in which the 49ers play. Both players are capable of picking up chunk yardage at any point and breaking a game open.

New Release

Packers SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.3, Best Book - Sportsbet

The secondary is by far the weakest aspect of the 49ers defence and Davante Adams is poised to have a huge day today. Adams has hit this line in 7/17 games this season including earlier this season against the 49ers. When it becomes crunch time, Aaron Rodgers searches for his favourite receiver.

Packers -5.5 - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Topsport

The Packers have looked unstoppable at home this season and there is no reason this will change this week. The Packers look likely to be boosted by the returns of, Randall Cobb, Jaire Alexander, Za’Darius Smith and Whitney Mercilus who have all been out for some time, with David Bakhtiari questionable. This is a massive boost for a Packers team who quite frankly have been doing fine without them. The 49ers put in a hard game last week and paid for it with a side who is looking a little worse for wear. Nick Bosa is likely to play however I doubt he will be at 100%. The 49ers QB Jimmy Garropollo has never played a football game in less than 30 degrees Fahrenheit and will likely see single-digit temperatures this week and possibly snow. This will make his scattershot arm even more worrisome especially when they are trailing and forced to throw. The one area where the 49ers have an advantage is in their run game, which is one of the best in the league and they get to face a poor Packers run defence. I believe this will be negated however by the Packers ability to score quickly at home and taking an early lead, forcing the 49ers to throw the ball more.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Tennessee Titans - 08:30

Titans -3.5 - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Topsport

The narrative is, in the division round you take the team that has the bye week. Now, this is not always true but I believe it will hold dividends this week especially with the change to only the number 1 seeds having the bye. The Titans used the bye week to get healthier and implement their game plan for the Bengals. The biggest aid to the Titans roster will be Derrick Henry who will be poised to carry his team to the next round of the playoffs. The Bengals are banged up on both their offensive and defensive lines which doesn’t bode well for them as that plays right into the Titans strengths. The Bengals will find it hard to run the ball with Mixon as they have been struggling over the past month in this area and face one of the best-run defences in the league. This will make the Bengals attack one dimensional and allow the Titans to hold a tighter line in coverage. Although Joe Burrow managed to get a brilliant playoff win as a rookie last week, it is a completely different story playing on the road in the divisional round of the playoffs.

Derrick Henry SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.0, Best Book - Sportsbet

Derrick Henry is back!!!!! Henry makes his much-anticipated return to the field this week after missing over half the season. Even missing 9 games of the season Henry still finished in the top 10 in rushing yards, which just goes to show how elite he is. There has been some word going around that Henry may be on a snap count this week, however, I find this hard to believe and can only see him taking significant time on the sidelines if the Titans are up big. Mike Vrabel has come out in the past and said Henry will never be put on a snap count as he is a momentum player and that would be taking away his best attribute. Also, it is the playoffs and I doubt they would risk the game by not allowing Henry to give them their best chance to win. Derrick Henry will not want to sit down no matter what, he is pumped and excited to get back out on the field.

Rays NFL Tips Wildcard Round

Hi team, we’ve had some good weeks and some not so good weeks in the regular season, but the playoffs are a completly different beast. I have some brilliant trends that I incorporate into my handicapping which have been succesfull for a long period of time. I hope everyone gets to watch some football this weekend and enjoys the super wildcard weekend.

Tuesday 18th January

Arizona Cardinals @ Los Angeles Rams - 12:15

Rams -3.5 - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Sportsmarket

Kupp SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 2.5, Best Book - Sportsbet

Combo SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 8.0, Best Book - Sportsbet

When breaking down this match we’ve had to look less at how these teams have done over the entire season but more at where they’re at right now. The Cardinals have looked a shell of themselves over the last month and a half winning only 1 of their last 5 games. The Rams however have won 5 of their last 6, failing only to a big rally last week from the 49ers who had to win to keep their season alive. The Cardinals can almost be seen as a fake team with a diminutive quarterback and a head coach whose college-style offensive scheme is beginning to get found out. The Rams and Cardinals split their series this season but in the Cardinals victory, the Rams were in the worst possible spot they had all season after a big win against the Bucs. I look here to the terrible record that 1st-time QBs have in the playoffs, which will include Kyler Murray making his first postseason start.

Cooper Kupp has been incredible all season and there is nothing to say he won’t keep up his amazing run against the Cardinals today, in fact when his team needs him the most, he has continually stepped up.

Monday 17th January

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Kansas City Chiefs - 12:15

Chiefs SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.4, Best Book - Lads/Neds

Darrel Williams will be taking the lead back role once again with Clyde Edwards-Helaire out once again. Williams has had plenty of post-season experience and knows what is expected of him in a big game like this. The Chiefs will look to attack the Steelers poor run defence throughout the game and if the Chiefs are up big, Williams will get plenty of carries late. The Steelers have been one of the lowest-scoring teams in the first halves of games where they have struggled to even get to 10 points in the last 3 months. The Chiefs on the other hand are one of the fastest starting teams in the league scoring 133 first-half points in the last 7 weeks compared to 22 for the Steelers. When these teams met up in week 16 it was 23-0 to the Chiefs at half-time. Williams had 55 rush yards in this match where he was the backup running back, taking over in the second half for an injured CEH.

San Francisco 49ers VS Dallas Cowboys - 08:30

Total Points Over 51 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Sportmarket

I usually prefer to be on under points in wildcard weekend, but this one keeps jumping out to me as a high scoring affair. Both of these offences match up with their opponents weaknesses and this should result in a high scoring shoot out. I can’t pick a side in this match as I believe the line is about right.

Cowboys/49ers SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.4, Best Book - Sportsbet

Deebo has passed this total in 7/8 games since he has been used in the backfield. Deebo is one of the most explosive weapons in the NFL and I cant see his usage in the running game slowing down, when he will be a matchup nightmare. Amari Cooper will be Prescott’s go-to receiver on the outside of the field and is finally starting to look a bit healthier. Cooper will be a mismatch for the 49ers poor cornerbacks.

Philidelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 05:00

I’m finding it tough to get to the line or total in this game. As much as I like the Bucs to win outright, this spread is too high for me to back and I can’t back the Eagles with an inferior team. What we do have here is a fantastic play on Rob Gronkowski. Gronk has really stepped up over the last few weeks in the absence of Chris Godwin then Antonio Brown. The Buccaneers will be without their top 2 running backs for this match as well which will make Brady want to look for his safety blanket as a chain mover. Mike Evans will be shadowed by top cornerback Darius Slay all day and will struggle to get too much seperation. The Eagles have given up the most touchdowns to opposing tight ends in the league and are one of only a handful of teams to allow over 1000 receiving yards to the position. When Gronk scores he loves to score in bunches as he has done 3 times already this season, which makes the 2+ touchdowns a nice value play.

Bucs SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.8, Best Book - Sportsbet

Rob Gronkowski 2+ Touchdowns - Stake 0.5 Units, Minimum Odds 7.0, Best Book - Pointsbet

Sunday 16th January

Las Vegas Raiders @ Cincinnati Bengals - 08:30

Josh Jacobs SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 6.5, Best Book - Sportsbet

Josh Jacobs has been allowed to run freely since Rich Bisaccia has taken over the Raiders and the last few weeks he’s shown the caliber of running back that he is. Jacobs has gone past this rushing total in the last 3 games and scored in the last 2. The wildcard round is traditionally a lower scoring affair where the ball is kept on the ground and chances aren’t taken in the red-zone. This means if the ball is within the 5 yard line then it’s going to Jacobs over a riskier passing play.

Raiders +5 - Stake 3 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Topsport

Raiders Win - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 2.8, Best Book - BET365

There are several reasons I have this as a fantastic play this week, starting with one that took me a while to get my head around, the Raiders really arent that bad.

  • The Raiders had a very tough strength of schedule this season, finishing the season with the 8th toughest line-up of opponents. When we compare this to the Bengals who had the 4th easiest strength of schedule we see a vast difference in these teams opposition. Teams that play a harder strength of schedule usually have more success in the wildcard round. Going back a number of years we find a 47-22 straight up record and a 48-22-2 (both 68%) ATS record favouring this trend. When the strength of schedule is at opposite ends of the spectrum like it is here, we have a 29-7 81% straight up record and 28-6 82% ATS record favouring this trend.

  • Quarterbacks who are competing in their first post-season match tend to struggle, recording an 11-31 26% record. Now although neither of these quarterbacks has played in the playoffs before, last week was the first week of the playoffs for the Raiders as they were eliminated with a loss. Derek Carr is also a seasoned veteran now who is used to performing on the big stage while Joe Burrow is essentially in an extension to his rookie season after having no offseason last year and then tearing his ACL halfway through the season.

  • The Bengals are a young team that is just learning to win for the first time in years. The future is bright for the Bengals however they will likely be overwhelmed by the glitz and glammar of the playoffs. Derek Carr has been impressive throughout his career in primetime games, holding a 12-6 record on stand-alone fixtures (Thursday and Monday). Joe Burrow won his only primetime game this season however that was because of a last-second field goal against lowly Jacksonville.

New England Patriots @ Buffalo Bills -

New Added

Bills/Patriots SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.3, Best Book - Lads/Neds

Bills -4 - Stake 2.5 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Topsport

The Bills have gone through the highs this season of looking like the best team in football, and the lows of losing to the Jaguars. The Bills are the most complete team in football with their run game picking up towards the end of the season, contributing to their 4 game win streak. The Patriots on the other hand are on a 1-3 slide and starting to look like the team that was going to need a year or 2 to grow into the system.

  • Josh Allen is now a veteran of the playoffs, entering the big show for the 3rd consecutive season, making the conference championship game last season. Allen knows what the playoffs are all about now and is well used to the excitement surrounding it. Mac Jones is a rookie and rookies don’t fare well in the playoffs. The last rookie to win a playoff game was Russel Wilson in 2012 and that team was carried by the run game and defence. Rookie QBs carry a 5-20 20% winning record in the playoffs.

  • Playoff home teams that lost in the conference championship game the previous season like the Bills, carry an incredible 44-8 85% record straight up in their first round of the playoffs the following season. The same stat records a 34-16 68% record ATS.

  • Playoff home favourites that were in the playoffs the previous season and are facing a side coming off a loss (Patriots) are 15-3 83% straight up and 14-5 74% ATS.

  • The Bills have the best defence in football and hold mismatches at almost every offensive position except possibly running back, which is very close with Singletary’s current form. The only reason we are getting a fair number here is because the blizzard game is baked into the line. Without the blizzard game this line is likely pushing close to 7.

Bears -6.5 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Topsport

The Giants are historically bad right now and they will have no answers for a Bears outfit that wants to keep testing their young offence. I expect a big day from the Bears defence to keep the Giants close to the 12 points per game they have averaged over the last 6 weeks.

David Montgomery SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 4.5, Best Book - Sportsbet

David Montgomery gets an amazing matchup against a Giants team that has been horrific against the run this season. The Giants have allowed the 4th most rushing yards to opposing running backs and the Bears will likely lean on Montgomery for 20+ carries. Montgomery has been brilliant in the passing game since returning from injury, going over this total the last 5 games straight. Montgomery has taken 5+ receptions in his last 4 matches as well showing he is a true centrepiece of this offence.

Buccaneers @ Jets

Bucs SGM - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 3.8, Best Book - BET365

Antonio Brown returned from suspension last week and once again showed he is the #1 receiver in this offence. Gronk had a slow game last week but will be out to prove it’s a one-off as he gets a terrific matchup against a Jets side that can’t stop anyone right now.

Falcons @ Bills

Stefon Diggs Anytime Touchdown - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 2.0, Best Book - BET365

Although it may seem like Stefon Diggs is having a down season, he is actually having his most successful touchdown scoring season of his career so far. Diggs has scored in 7 of his last 10 matches and gets a terrific matchup against a Falcons side that can’t stop wide receivers in the RedZone.

Eagles @ Football Team

Jalen Hurts SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 5.8, Best Book - Sportsbet

We go back to our Jalen Hurts line after missing it last week. Hurts will have to run more this week with almost the entire Eagles running back corps under an injury cloud.

Chiefs @ Bengals

Chiefs -3.5 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Topsport

The Bengals put in a monumental effort against the Ravens last week and we are getting a better line because of it. The Bengals have come a long way but are still young and inexperienced. The Chiefs are in a great position to take care of business here.

Kelce SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.8, Best Book - Sportsbet

Travis Kelce is back and has a terrific matchup against a Bengals side that is poor up the middle.

Dolphins @ Titans

Dolphins/Titans SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 5.0, Best Book - Sportsbet

The Dolphins are on a 7 game winning streak that is about to come to a screeching halt. The Dolphins have beaten no strong teams through this streak and will meet their match against a Titans outfit who continues to chug along to the playoffs. Both of these offences have struggled to put up points recently and both teams are carried by their defence. The Titans are one of the best teams in the league against Tight Ends and Gesicki typically has slower games when DeVante Parker is in the lineup.

Rams @ Ravens

Cooper Kupp SGM - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 3.3, Best Book - Sportsbet

An automatic play right now as the Rams tries to get Cooper Kupp to all the records. Kupp will need 2 strong games to end the season to take home both the season receiving yards record and the season receptions record.

Cardinals @ Cowboys

Cardinals SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 4.6, Best Book - BET365

We are getting a lot of points in a match that projects to be closely contested. The Cardinals are in desperate need of a win and will be targetting this Cowboys defence that has shown holes at times. The middle of this Cowboys defence is the easiest target and Kyler will be looking for his favourite target Ertz through there.

Panthers @ Saints

Taysom Hill 2+ TDs - Stake 0.5 Units, Minimum Odds 10, Best Book - Lads/Neds

Taysom Hill has started 7 games in his career and has scored 2 touchdowns in 3 of them. This includes 1/3 this season. We are getting a great number for a mobile quarterback in Hill who has a taste for the endzone.

Lions @ Seahawks

Tyler Lockett 100+ Receiving Yards - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 4.5, Best Book - Sportsbet

Tyler Lockett is going to have an excellent matchup this week against a Lions side that has been the most inconsistent in the league. In away matches, the Lions have struggled and it will be no different here. Lockett has reached 100 receiving yards in 5/15 matches this season and the Lions cornerbacks are allowing a massive 70% catch rate across the board.

Titans +5.5/Total Over 45.5 Double - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.1, Best Book - Sportsbet

The normal line for this match will be Titans +3.5/Over 45.5 and is fine to take down to odds of 3.2 if you cant get the +5.5 line. The best book for that is at Topsport at 3.4.

The Titans have struggled recently, but they are in an excellent spot this week to put up a good result against the 49ers. Both AJ Brown and Julio Jones will be back this week and it makes a huge difference when these 2 players are in the lineup. The Titans run game has been quietly productive without Derrick Henry and their defence has been strong compared to last seasons dumpster fire. The Titans have allowed the 2nd fewest rushing yards in the league to opposing backs this season which makes up the majority of the 49ers game plan. The Titans have also conceded the 4th fewest receiving yards to opposing teams tight ends which goes against the 49ers #2 option in George Kittle. This match is on a short week also plays into the Titans hands, as well as it is an out of conference match.

Rays NFL Tips Week 15

Wednesday 22nd December

Football Team @ Eagles

Football Team +9 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Topsport

The Football Team was hit hard with Covid 19 earlier in the week but is beginning to look healthier outside of the quarterback position. The Football Team will be starting Garrett Gilbert at quarterback today, who I don’t mind as a player. In short, with all of the issues surrounding both teams and in what I expect to be a low scoring match, 9 points is simply too many.

Seahawks @ Rams

Total Points Under 47 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.87, Best Book - Sportmarket

We have seen through all the games that have been affected by Covid-19 this week that points have been hard to come by. This is a game where I would be looking towards the under in points anyway let alone with the disrupted schedules for both teams. The Rams have started to get a few players back from the Covid list, where the Seahawks are trending in the opposite direction. Either way, this looks to be a tough hard-fought match between 2 teams that still have a lot to do to have any hope for the playoffs.

Dalvin Cook 150+ Rushing Yards - Stake 0.5 Units, Minimum Odds 5.5, Best Book - Sportsbet

Vikings SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.5, Best Book - Lads/Neds

We are all in on Dalvin Cook in the Monday Night Football match. Cook had a fantastic match last week and looks to be fully healthy for a terrific match-up this week against an undermanned Chicago defence. The Bears will be without their entire starting secondary which you would generally think leads to more passing yards, however, this will force the Bears to play higher in coverage allowing bigger running lanes for Dalvin Cook. The Vikings are a run-first team even though they have one of the best-receiving duos in the league.

Monday 20th December

Disclaimer: We have a lot of players questionable and out due to Covid 19. With all the player’s outs, I find it difficult to back our usual SGMs and multis. This week we will be keeping our bets down to singles and a few doubles. I am expecting a lower yield due to this but I believe it is a safer play than going with players that will be under different roles or in different schemes. I am backing a lot more totals and spreads this weak to negate the reliance on single players in these situations.

Sunday Night Football

Mike Evans Anytime Touchdown - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 2.1, Best Book - Sportsbet

We take our weekly play on the Mike Evans touchdown prop which has paid off for us all season. Evans has been at his scoring best in home matches this season, scoring in 5 of 6 home tilts. Evans also scored in the first match-up between these divisional rivals.

Pats/Colts SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.6, Best Book - Lads/Neds

Nyheim Hines has hit this line in 5 of his past 6 matches. Hines has returned to his usual pass-catching role over the last couple of months and gets a terrific matchup this week. The Patriots have allowed the 4th most receiving yards to opposing running backs this season and have allowed over this mark in all but 1 non-blizzard match. Hunter Henry has passed this receiving number in 9 of 12 non-blizzard matches this season. The Colts have allowed the 3rd most receiving yards to opposing tight ends this season. In the past 4 matches, the Colts have allowed a mammoth 320 receiving yards to tight ends. If you can bet at Lads or Neds, they have significantly better odds up for this combo.

Chiefs @ Chargers

Thursday Night Football

Kelce SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.5, Best Book - Sportsbet

The Chargers have allowed the 2nd most touchdowns to opposition tight ends this season. Kelce gets a great size advantage this week and will be able to bully his opponents in the red zone. Kelce had over 100 receiving yards in the first contest between these teams and has a history of balling out against the Chargers. Kelce has had big games in 3 of the last 4 contests against the Chargers.

Chiefs -3.5/Under 54.5 Total Points Double - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.3, Best Book - Lads/Neds

The Chiefs are on a roll right now with their offence finally flowing and looking more consistent. On defence, the Chiefs have played some of their best football in recent weeks and it fits the trend they started last season with their defence playing better in the second half of the season. This week both teams have been hit by the huge influx of Covid-19 cases predominantly on the defensive side of the ball. Most people would think this will lead to a higher scoring game, however on a Thursday night with less prep and a divisional rivalry, these teams will just want to get in and get out. The Chiefs will want to get a lead early then work the clock with their running game and short completions to Travis Kelce.

Cardinals SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 5.5, Best Book - Sportsbet

AJ Green has passed this total in 4 of his last 6 matches, although last weeks game can be discounted in the terrible Chicago weather. Earlier this season, Green had a terrific matchup against the Rams and it’s even better now with their depleted defence. Kyler Murray has led the Cardinals past this points total in all but one of his starts this season. After the Cardinals had a big 37 point effort in the first match-up, I expect a similar effort today. James Conner has been heavily used in the passing game since Chase Edmonds was injured. Conner has easily passed this total in all 4 matches he has played as the #1 running back.

Bears @ Packers, Sunday Night Football

Packers -11 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Topsport

AJ Dillon is beginning to take over as the back who gets the most running usage in Green Bay. In Dillons last 6 healthy matches he has gone over this total 5 times, including against the Bears. Akiem Hicks is out for this match so the Packers will rely heavily on the run game. Cole Kmet has passed this receiving total in 5 of his last 7 matches which coincides with him taking a bigger role in the Bears offence. Kmet also passed this mark in the first match with the Packers.

Steelers/Vikings SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.4, Best Book - Sportsbet

This has been a tough game to break down as both the spread and total come out right where this game should be set. Both the Steelers and Vikings are on the outside looking in at the playoffs and a loss in this match would make it a tough uphill battle for the rest of the season. We have an SGM today with the 2 most consistent players in this game. Justin Jefferson has passed this total in 5 of 12 games this season, but this includes 3 of the past 4. Jefferson went off for 182 yards on 14 targets last week without running mate Adam Thielen. Thielen will be out again this week. Diontae Johnson has been the most consistent receiver for the Steelers over the past few seasons. This year, Johnson has passed this receiving yards total in 7 of 11 matches including the last 4 straight. Johnson will once again be heavily targetted against a Minnesota coverage unit that has once again failed to impress.

Patriots @ Bills, Monday Night Football

Total Points Under 40.5 - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 1.87, Best Book - Sportmarket

We have a bet on the under in this match that just makes too much sense to ignore. We have 2 of the best defences in football playing in a divisional game that historically is low scoring. Once we add the shocking weather conditions in, we have only one way we can make a play on this game. If the snow rain and ice are not enough the 25-35 MPH winds will turn this into a constant punting and running game.

MNF SGM - Stake 0.5 Units, Minimum Odds 5.0, Best Book - Sportsbet

This SGM matches up perfectly with how we expect the match to play out. Both quarterbacks are going to struggle to be on target all day and will be checking the ball down for small gains. The Bills are the stronger all-around team and have been together for longer. Josh Allen has more experience in deplorable weather conditions than Mac Jones who went to college in Alabama and high school in Florida.

Thoughts

We already have our big play in this game on Mecole Hardman as well as our Hardman/Mixon TD multi in play. We are just taking a small play here on the double with the Broncos more than capable of keeping this game close. This is generally a fiercely contested rivalry but under the circumstances this season I believe the Ravens have a clear advantage. Big Ben is cooked and his arm is shot to pieces, today he also announced his impending retirement. We are looking at some poor weather for this match as well so I expect a low scoring game with the Ravens working the clock for a nice win.

49ers @ Seahawks

49ers/Seahawks SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 5.7, Best Book - Sportsbet

The Seahawks have finally imploded and it looks like we are about to see big changes in the offseason. The 49ers on the other hand have never played better this season and apart from Deebo Samuel being out this team is finally beginning to create some chemistry. With Samuel out, I see Brandon Aiyuk being the main benefactor in terms of targets. As well as an increase in usage Aiyuk has passed this receiving total in 3 of the past 4 weeks. Russel Wilson is always good for a few scrambles in the game and the 49ers have given up the most rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks.

Broncos @ Chiefs

Mecole Hardman Over 17.5 Receiving Yards - Stake 4 Units, Minimum Odds 1.87, Best Book - BET365

Its MEEEEECOLE HAAAAARDMAN time!!!!! For those of you who were with us last year you saw Mecole Hardman as almost a week in week out play and one of our most profitable bets. This season Hardman hasn’t had the role we expected from him but this receiving yards number is disrespectful. Hardman has gone over this total in 10/11 games this season and still sees roughly a 60% snap share. This total has dropped off slightly in the 2 games before the bye however it looks like he is back in the good graces in the wide receiver room. Hardman has been taken off punt return duties with the special teams coach eluding that it was for him to focus on his role as a wide receiver. Hardman may not go for 100+ yards this week, but getting him to go for 18+ yards is one of my favourite plays of the season. BET OF THE MONTH.

Cowboys @ Saints

Saints/Cowboys Total Points Under 46 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.88, Best Book - Sportmarket

There are two similar things with these teams and it boils down to both of their defences being better than their offences. I know this seems hard to fathom with Dak Prescott and all the firepower that the Cowboys possess but they have just not looked the same since before Prescotts injury. This week Head Coach Mike McCarthy will be out and in the Covid protocol so defensive Co-Ordinator Dan Quinn will be leading the team. This shouldn’t change the offensive playcalling too much but I do see the Cowboys employing a more ball control conservative gameplan.

Saints/Cowboys SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 8.6, Best Book - Sportsbet

  • Taysom Hill is a mobile quarterback that doesn’t project to be able to move that much today. Hill is dealing with Plantar Fasciitis in his foot which will decrease his mobility. There will be fewer designed runs for Hill and he will likely slide earlier on scrambles.

  • Tony Pollards receiving total is quickly becoming one of our favourite bets as the bookies continue to undervalue his role in the passing game. Pollard has gone over this mark in 6 of the last 7 games and has gone over in 8 of 11 games on the season.

  • We are getting an Amari Cooper receiving total that is much too high this week. Cooper has missed the last 2 matches with Covid and has said himself that he is nowhere near the conditioning he had previously. Cooper is going to be on a snap count today and play a limited role in the offence. When on the field he will likely be matched up with Mashon Lattimore who has a big advantage over a slower Amari Cooper.

  • The Saints looked completely inept on offence last week and struggled to get the ball moving. This week with Taysom Hill and Mark Ingram on deck I have the Saints playing a slower game again but still not being able to score frequently. If the Cowboys come out of the gate quickly which they have done a lot this season the Saints are more likely to create offensive errors and not be able to recover. Alvin Kamara and both tackles are desperately needed back in this team in order to have more success.

Newcastle has looked better and better in each match under Eddie Howe and it’s time for them to reap the rewards of their newfound energy. Crystal Palace has shocked me this season as they are far and away better than I had them placed. Viera has done wonders with this squad and their defensive resolve is admirable across the league. Leeds couldn’t quite get across the line last week against a free-falling Brighton squad and they will have a much tougher match against Palace.

Arsenal VS Newcastle @ 23:30

Newcastle Win - Stake 0.5 Units, Minimum Odds 6.8, Best Book - Sportmarket

Newcastle looks to have new energy under Eddie Howe. Howe was absent from the match last week and would probably have been the difference to get Newcastle the victory. This will be a tough match against an in-form Arsenal side, however, we are getting over the odds for a team that looks set for a resurgence.

Crystal Palace VS Aston Villa @ 02:00

Aston Villa Win - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.3, Best Book - UNIBET

Aston Villa has the feel of a team that is about to make a run on the table. Steven Gerrard got the win last week and looks to be the perfect manager for Aston Villa. Gerrard will do great things with the Villa defence and a healthier attack will be the difference against Crystal Palace. Palace has gone undefeated in their last 7 matches, however the matchup isn’t great this week against a youthful Villa side who wants to play for their new gaffer.

Norwich VS Wolves @ 02:00

Wolves Win - Stake 2.5 Units, Minimum Odds 2.0, Best Book - UNIBET

Wolves have been steadily climbing the season after they had a tough run of fixtures to open the season. Wolves are now in 6th and have every chance of playing European football next season if they keep up their current form. Norwich has struggled to score all season and it looks very difficult to see them score against a strong Wolves defence.

Brighton VS Leeds @ 04:30

Leeds Win - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.7, Best Book - UNIBET

This is less of a play on Leeds as much as it is a play against Brighton. Brighton hasn’t won a game in the premier league in 2 months and their attack lacks effort. Leeds are going to be healthier this week than they have been in a while and are over the odds in what should be a pick ‘em match.

Russel Wilson will be back to his best on the ground this week as he escapes from a strong pass rush. The Football team have given up the 5th most rushing yards to quarterbacks this season. JD McKissic is one of my favourite players to bet receiving yards over. McKissic has gone over this total in 4 of his last 5 matches and gets the best possible matchup this week. The Seahawks have given up the most receiving yards to opposing running backs this season and allow plenty of open space for outlet passes.

Ravens/Browns SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 5.0, Best Book - Lads/Neds

Titans @ Patriots

Patriots SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.8, Best Book - Lads/Neds

We didnt get the Hunter Henry touchdown last week, but the odds are still looking great this week especially when added to the Patriots winning the match. Henry has scored in 6 of his last 8 games and is the first read for Mac Jones in the redzone. The Titans are on a downward spiral right now while the Patriots are flying high.

Eagles @ Giants

Jalen Hurts SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.2, Best Book - Lads/Neds

Jalen Hurts has hit this line in his last 4 games straight games which correlates with the Eagles new offensive scheme. The Eagles have finally begun to run the ball and pass less which they have needed to do for the last 3 seasons. Of course, this has led to 3 wins in their last 4 games and gives the Eagles a chance to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

Buccaneers @ Colts

Mike Evans Touchdown - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 2.0, Best Book - BET365

Mike Evans is one of our go-to player props and he’s been finding the endzone at a nice rate this season. Evans has scored in his last 4 games straight and maintains his status as Tom Bradys favourite red zone target.

Falcons @ Jaguars

Falcons SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.6, Best Book - BET365

We have seen the real Jaguars side come out the last few weeks and what it’s shown is this side lacks any type of explosive playmaker. The Jaguars have grabbed a couple of wins this season but they were against a poor Dolphins side and a Bills team that was looking past them. The Falcons are still in the hunt for a playoff spot and this is a must-win game for them. Both sides don’t put up a tonne of points on offence and are better defensively, leading us to the under as well.

Panthers @ Dolphins

Cam Newton SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.6, Best Book - Sportsbet

Cam is back and will likely be the Panthers starter for the remainder of the season. This is a very typical line for Cam Newton who loves to run the ball himself in the redzone. Cam made this line last week and has a better chance of creating running lanes with the Panthers as defenses have to respect Christian McCafferey.

Steelers @ Bengals

Joe Mixon Touchdown - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.8, Best Book - BET365

Joe Mixon has been a touchdown machine this season, scoring in his last 7 games straight. Mixon also gets a nice matchup against the Steelers who are just off the back of giving up 4 touchdowns to Austin Ekeler.

Joe Mixon 2+ Touchdowns - Stake 0.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.8, Best Book - Sportsbet

Joe Mixon has scored 2 touchdowns in his last 3 matches. Were getting great odds to have a small play on Mixon to keep this run going.

Rams @ Packers

Rams -1.5/Total Under 47.5 Double - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.4, Best Book - Lads/Neds

The Rams will be looking to bounce back after a couple of tough losses before the bye. With the Bye, the Rams have had 2 weeks to plan for this match. Green Bay is banged up right now and there’s no guarantee that Aaron Rodgers will even play with his broken toe. If Rodgers does play, I expect a lot of conservative playcalling. As great as both of these offences look, both teams have better defences. The under is definitely in play here as well when we have to take the weather into account. Lambeau field is nicknamed the frozen tundra and it will be very cold for the remaining Packers home games.

Rams/Packers SGM - Stake 0.5 Units, Minimum Odds 14, Best Book - BET365

We are leaning into the under here taking each teams top receivers to have a more conservative game. Sony Michel looks to getting intergratted into the Rams offense more and it could only take a few runs for Michel to pass this line.

Vikings @ 49ers

Vikings +3.5/Total Over 48.5 Double - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.3, Best Book - BET365

Both the 49ers and the Vikings are peaking at the same time this season and they have similar roster builds right now. Both teams have weaker defences that can be exploited and strong offences that love to score points. Both teams will want to run the ball and exploit play-action passes. The Vikings have been in close games all season and this matchup doesn’t look to change that. I’m expecting a shootout in this match and getting the Vikings over a field goal is excellent value.

Cowboys SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.4, Best Book - Lads/Neds

Tony Pollard has cleared this receiving yards total in 5 of his last 6 games. Ezekiel Elliott has been having a down season but still getting onto the score sheet regularly. Elliott has a terrific record on thanksgiving and should find the line once again tomorrow.

Bills @ Saints

Bills SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 4.6, Best Book - BET365

Stefon Diggs has been heating up recently and he has a deceptively good matchup against former star cornerback Marshon Lattimore. Diggs has been getting more involved in key situations and has found the endzone in 4 of his last 5 matches. With the way this matchup predicts to play out, I see both teams throwing the ball a lot and see plenty of points on the scoreboard.

Buccaneers -11.5 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Topsport

The Buccaneers were humbled last week in a game where they faced a team with playoff revenge on them. This week the Bucs will return home in a big get right situation. There are so many narratives in this match that all point in the same direction. The Bucs have the best home-field advantage in the NFL this season winning by at least 23 points in every match outside of opening night. The Bucs will be fired up after not winning a match in the last 3 weeks (2 matches and the bye). Tom Brady has one of the best primetime records of all time. The Bucs will be ready to get the job done this week, even with multiple injuries on their defence.

Bucs SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 4.0, Best Book - Sportsbet

Mike Evans is set for a big game after struggling for targets in the last few weeks. Evans has been the go-to Buccaneer in the endzone at home this season scoring 7 touchdowns in his last 3 home matches. Evans eclipsed this receiving yards mark in each of those contests as well. The Bucs have scored 31 points or more in all 4 of their home games this season.

Rams @ 49ers, Monday Night Football

Rams SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.9, Best Book - Sportsbet

Cooper Kupp has been a touchdown machine this season scoring in 7/9 games. Matthew Stafford has gone over this passing yardage mark in 6/9 games this year. Together these players have been brilliant and they enter a great situation to succeed against a 49ers team who has no special players in their secondary. The Rams lost last week and will be out to run the score up on their division rivals.

49ers SGM - Stake 0.5 Units, Minimum Odds 7.5, Best Book - Sportsbet

We have a great value play on George Kittle who loves playing against the Rams. In the last 6 meetings between the Rams and 49ers, Kittle has hit this line at a 50% clip. Kittle has also scored in 4 of his last 5 against the Rams and gone over the 100 yards receiving mark in one of the contests where he didn’t score. The Rams have been susceptible to tight ends and likely will be again this week, with Jalen Ramsey covering Deebo Samuel or Brandon Aiyuk, whoever is lining up in the slot. With my expectation of the Rams going ahead early in this game, Kittle should be set to take on a heavy workload. Kittle also hit this line last week.

Monday 15th November

Chiefs @ Raiders, Sunday Night Football

SNF SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 4.0, Best Book - Sportsbet

It has been a season of mixed results for Travis Kelce so far, but he traditionally loves playing the Raiders. In Kelce’s last 6 matches against the Raiders, he has gone over this receiving yards total 5 times and in each of those matches he went for 90 yards plus. In 5 of the Raiders last 6 matches they have allowed the opposing team tight end to gain the most receiving yards for them in the match. The Chiefs have gone over 28 points in each of their last 6 matches with the Raiders.

Jaguars @ Colts

Jaguars/Colts SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.7, Best Book - BET365

Dan Arnold has easily cleared this total in 3 of his 5 matches with the Jaguars. Arnold also gets a terrific matchup this week and his quarterback has a few injury concerns so will be looking for his safety blanket. We are going back to the well with the Zach Pascal Under, which is boosted this week by the return of TY Hilton.

Browns @ Patriots

Browns Win - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 2.0, Best Book - UNIBET

We are getting a great number on the Browns this week who I expect are about to go on a big run. The Browns are getting healthier on defence which showed in their dismantling of the Bengals last week. The Patriots are a good team but are going to be inconsistent with a rookie quarterback. The Patriots defence has been as expected this season but the run first Browns team will prove to be a very difficult matchup for them.

Falcons @ Cowboys

Cowboys/Falcons SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.6, Best Book - Lads/Neds

Saints @ Titans

Saints/Titans SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 5.5, Best Book - BET365

Adrian Peterson looked like the worst of the Titans 3 running backs last week, and at his age, he is a shadow of his former self. Peterson also has limited usage, only being on the field on 1st or 2nd down. This all doesn’t bode well coming up against the Saints who have allowed the fewest rushing yards against them in the NFL. Taysom Hill is back and fully healthy now which brings him in to play as the Saint’s x-factor. Trevor Siemian will be the Saints starting quarterback but I expect to see a lot of Taysom Hill as well, especially in the red zone. Alvin Kamara is out this week which makes Hill the go-to touchdown machine against the Titans. I expect to see Hill under centre, out wide and in the backfield throughout the game.

Buccaneers @ Football Team

Mike Evans 2+ Touchdowns - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.5, Best Book - Topsport

Mike Evans has scored 2 or more touchdowns in 3 of 8 games this season. This week the Bucs will be without both Antonio Brown and Rob Gronkowski who are the other big red zone threats in this offence. Evans has scored 2+ touchdowns in 2 of 3 games without Brown, and 2 of 3 games without Gronkowski. What’s even better is Evans gets an amazing matchup against one of the worst secondaries in the NFL this season.

Vikings @ Chargers

Justin Jefferson SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.0, Best Book - Sportsbet

Jefferson gets a tremendous matchup this week against a secondary which is as injured as any in the league. This predicts out to be a very high scoring match with 2 potent offences and 2 defences that have failed to live up to the hype.

Eagles @ Broncos

Broncos/Eagles SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.5, Best Book - Lads/Neds

Tim Patrick has quietly been travelling as one of the best wide receiver 3s in the NFFL. Patrick has cleared this yardage total in a massive 8 out of 9 games this season. The Eagles secondary is without their best player and is turning into one of the lesser units in the league. Quez Watkins has passed this receiving total in 6 of 9 games this season and should find himself open on numerous occasions this week. The Broncos have some great young cornerbacks but Watkins will be identified as the odd man out and as he usually does, get lost in the shuffle. Watkins has terrific downfield ability and it likely would only take 1-2 receptions to pass this meagre total.

Ravens @ Dolphins, Thursday Night Football

Ravens -7.5 - Stake 2.5 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Sportsmarket

We have the Ravens and Dolphins this week on Thursday Night Football and these are two teams who are going in opposite directions this season. The Ravens snuck out a tough win last week but they were ahead in almost every statistical category. The problem with the Ravens has been their pass defence and in particular their deep pass defence. Now if there’s any team I don’t trust to throw the ball deep it’s the Dolphins and I don’t care if it’s Brissett or Tua at quarterback. There is nothing you can like about this Dolphins team right now and we will likely see big changes next season. The Ravens will be able to move the ball both on the ground and through the air. The Ravens will comfortably dismantle the Dolphins and as it’s a primetime game well start to hear the Ravens Superbowl talk until Sunday.

NFL Early Lines

Bills @ Jets

Bills -13.5 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 2.05, Best Book - Sportmarket

The Jets have been a hot mess this season, winning games they probably shouldn’t and getting blown out in games they should play close. Right now they have a matchup against an angry Bills team who will be looking to lay a beating. The Bills lost outright in a game they should have easily won last week and I feel for whoever they were playing this week. This Bills side is a strong team with Superbowl aspirations and they will be out for blood against the Jets this week.

Saints @ Titans

Saints Win - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 2.2, Best Book - Pointsbet

The Saints had a tough loss last week, but that is the trend for this weeks early releases. Good teams off the back of tough losses tend to rebound strongly the next week. The Titans didn’t win the game last week, the Rams lost it. The Titans running and the play-action attack looked like a mess and they will struggle mightily against another strong defence who will play them tight. Without Derrick Henry, it’s always a strong play to fade the Titans when they’re in the favourite role.

Rams @ 49ers

Rams -4 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Sportmarket

We saw the Rams play a shocker last week in primetime and it’s unlikely they do the same against their division rival. The Rams will be looking to tighten up their defence who let the Titans come through in short field situations. The Rams attack will be looking for a huge bounceback effort as Matthew Stafford will be working on his accuracy. The 49ers have not lived up to any of the expectations I had for them at the start of the season. They have been one of the most injured teams yet again and the Kyle Shannahan offence looks to be figured out by every team in the league. The 49ers lost their defensive coordinator Robert Saleh last season and it had one of the largest effects on a defence I have seen in quite some time. The Rams will be looking to get back into the divisional title race and put the 49ers season to bed.

Aston Villa has been severely disappointing this season without Jack Grealish. The cohesion doesn’t seem to have come with the new signings and Dean Smith needs to turn things around fast while he still has a job. This game is crucial for Aston Villa who needs to get a few more points on the board before their brutal December schedule. Southampton has strung a few nice results together albeit over low tier competition. Southampton is not a good football team and even 14th position on the table seems a bit too high for them. Southampton has shown very little in attack this season and I expect Villa to get the job done in a low scoring match. Even with Aston Villa underwhelming this season, these odds are much too high against Southampton.

Steelers/Bears Total Points Under 40 - Stake 2.5 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Sportmarket

We have two of the best Under teams this season playing each other on Monday Night Football. Combined these teams have gone 3-12 or 80% to the under. Both these teams are in the bottom 5 in passing offense and have allowed the 6th and 7th least passing yards this season. Both teams have defenses that are much better than their offenses and conservative play calling. This all points us to having a slow low scoring match.

Najee Harris SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.5, Best Book - BET365

Najee Harris has become a larger and larger piece of the Steelers offence in recent weeks, especially in the run game. Harris has cleared this total in 4 of his last 5 matches and has a great matchup this week with the Steelers looking to keep the clock moving. Harris has scored a touchdown in his last 4 matches and is a great dual-threat in the red zone. No Steelers game has gone over this points total all season.
NB; If you can’t get the total yards over for Harris I would look towards the rushing yards over 81.5, but for bookkeeping purposes it is the total yards we will be assessing the bet on.

Monday 8th November

Titans @ Rams Sunday Night Football

Rams SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 4.0, Best Book - Sportsbet

The Titans have quietly been very strong against the run this season and have only allowed one runner to go over this total all season. If this is a close game the ball will be put in Stafford’s hands and if it’s a walkover, Sony Michel will take a good portion of the carries. Cooper Kupp has scored in 6 of 8 games this season and he has a brilliant matchup in the slot today. With no Derrick Henry, I like the Rams to get a comfortable win today.

Cooper Kupp 2+ Touchdowns - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.5, Best Book - Lads/Neds

Cooper Kupp has scored 2 touchdowns in 4 of 8 games this season and gets a terrific matchup today. Stafford will be looking his way in the Red Zone.

Friday 5th November

Jets @ Colts, Thursday Night Football

Colts/Jets SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 4.7, Best Book - BET365

We’re getting some great value on a game that doesn’t project to be the best watching. Michael Carter has taken off in the last few weeks especially in the passing game. Carter has a brilliant connection with Mike White who will once again be searching for his safety blanket in a match the Jets are expected to be behind in. Zach Pascal was being talked about early in the season after he got a few early touchdowns, however, the usage and yards are just not there for him. Pascal has gone under this receiving total in 7 of his 8 matches. Jonathan Taylor has been on a touchdown scoring run, scoring in his last 5 games straight. The Jets have given up a league-high 11 rushing touchdowns to running backs this season.

Colts/Jets Under 46 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.87, Best Book - Sportmarket

Early Lines

Broncos @ Cowboys

Cowboys/Broncos Under 49.5 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.87, Best Book - Sportmarket

The Broncos started the season well but have shown their inability to move the ball on offence in recent games. The Cowboys have shown a defence that is stronger than it looks on paper and will be hampered at the quarterback position once again this week. If Prescott plays, he will not be 100% and if Cooper Rush plays he will not have the same success as there is game tape on him now. Defence comes to the front on this one and the run game keeps the clock running.

Browns @ Bengals

Browns +2.5 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.87, Best Book - Sportmarket

The Bengals record does not fully show the quality of this team and the same can be said for the Browns. The Bengals struggled against the Jets and it doesn’t get any easier for them against a division rival that needs to get the win. The Browns are getting healthier each week and go time is now for them. Odell Beckham Jr is out and honestly they may be a good thing for the Browns. I expect business to resume as usual for both these teams this week and set the tone for the second halves of their seasons.

Falcons @ Saints

Saints -6 - Stake 3 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Sportmarket

The Saints have lost their starting quarterback for the season and I couldn’t be higher on them in this spot. The Saints came into the season knowing they were going to have to win games another way and whether the quarterback is Winston, Hill or Siemian the game plan doesn’t change. We will still see lots of Alvin Kamara, We will still see deep shots down the field and we will see a suffocating defence who will be responsible for the win. If it wasn’t for an overtime capitulation against the Giants, the Saints would be 6-1. The Saints could even be 7-0 if it wasn’t for them losing all their coaches to Covid protocol against the Panthers. Giving under 7 points on the spread is too good to be true against the Falcons who will be without Calvin Ridley.
