Novak Djokovic Win & Over 35.5 Games

Novak has given away a few sets in this tournament, however, the way he bounces back is incredible playing some of his best tennis. Kyrgios has all the skill to beat Novak and holds a 2-0 record over him, however, it’s going to be tough to rock Djokovic. We shouldn’t see too many breaks of serve here and we are expecting long sets with Novak to come out on top and lift his 4th successive Wimbledon title.

The two previous completed matches between these two ladies have both gone to a 3rd set going 1-1. These two players will be bringing in contrasting styles which makes us like this match to go to the 3rd set. Rybakina will bring in a power gameplan, while Jabeur has more touch and precision. We see Rybakina potentially taking the first set before Jabeur strikes back and takes control of the match.

Novak Djokovic VS Cameron Norrie

Cameron Norrie To Not Win a Set
Stake 3 Units
Minimum Odds 1.50
Best Book - Sportsbet

The basis behind this bet is for Djokovic to win 3 sets to nil, however, in a few books this market is producing higher odds for the same bet. Have a look at the book you are using to see if Norrie to not win a set or Djokovic 3-0 is paying higher and take that market. Djokovic hit a slight stumble in his last match against Sinner losing the first two sets. The next 3 sets were sublime by Djokovic and he is very unlikely to stumble again being so close to the final. Norrie came out full of nerves in his match against Goffin and it’s not going to get any easier for him here. Djokovic will not allow Norrie back into the match the way Goffin did and we have him cruising into the final to face Kyrgios.

Elena Rybakina VS Simona Halep

Jabeur & Halep Win
Stake 5 Units
Minimum Odds 1.4
Best Book - Lads/Neds

We only have one play today, but it’s a play we absolutely love. Jabeur and Halep have both been playing some incredible tennis so far this tournament and they both thoroughly deserve to reach the final. Jabeur dropped only one set in her last match and she came back in incredible fashion to show it was just a lapse of concentration. Halep is yet to drop a set and is playing as good as she has in the year she won the title. Jabeur gets a brilliant matchup against Maria who is having the tournament of her life, but her slice and cut shots won’t rock Jabeur. Jabeur is rarely off-put by an unconventional gameplan and Maria’s gameplan will be picked to pieces early in this match. Halep will blast through Rybakina thanks to her terrific return game and will be able to break Rybakinas serve with ease. Rybakina will likely have a lot of nerves at this stage of the tournament and Halep will embrace the pressure.

Cristian Garin VS Nick Kyrgios

Total Games Over 36.5

Garin keeps pressing forward and picking up the upsets. While we think Kyrgios will be too strong here, Garin can easily make Nick work. Kyrgios is battling both injury issues and now impending legal charges so chances are he won’t have his head 100% in the game. Everything points to another long match here.

Taylor Fritz VS Rafael Nadal

Both Players Win a Set and Nadal to Win
Stake 2 Units
Minimum Odds 2.2
Bets Book - BET365

Nadal is playing excellent tennis right now after a slow start to the tournament. Taylor Fritz is currently playing the best tennis of his career and won against Nadal the last time they played each other. Fritz can make this match interesting and we expect him to take at least a set off Nadal before Rafa’s experience takes over.

Ajla Tomljanovic VS Elena Rybakina

Elena Rybakina Win -2.5 Games
Stake 2.5 Units
Minimum Odds 1.73
Best Book - BET365

This looks to be the end of the line for Tomljanovic who has played as best she can in the tournament. Both these players have similar styles, however, Rybakina just does everything a bit better. The biggest telling point in this match will be Tomljanovic’s error count and poor second serve which Rybakina can attack.

Simona Halep VS Amanda Anisimova

Simona Halep Win 2-0
Stake 2.25 Units

We have two brilliant grasscourt technicians here however Halep looks to be on course to make yet another Wimbledon final. These two ladies played each other a couple of weeks ago on grass resulting in a 6-2 6-1 domination for Halep. We expect this match to be a bit closer, but Halep shouldn’t find this too much of a challenge.

Djokovic has looked sharp so far this tournament, even after dropping a set in his last match. Djokovic always turns up against the higher-ranked opposition and he has all the tools to exploit Sinner’s weaknesses.

David Goffin VS Cameron Norrie

Goffin is finally starting to play to the potential we were seeing from him 3-4 years ago. Goffin has faced a much tougher road to get to this match and his high tennis IQ will help him here. Norrie has outperformed his ability so far in this tournament and this looks to be another step too far for the brit.

Maria has looked excellent so far in this tournament and is playing some of the best tennis in her career. Cristian Garin VS Alex De Minaur

De Minaur Win 3-0
Stake 2.5 Units

Best Book - UNIBET

Alex De Minaur is playing some terrific tennis right now and is enjoying the best grasscourt season of his career. De Minaur has a 3-0 head-to-head record over Garin and is yet to drop a set to him. These two players faced each other 2 weeks ago at Eastbourne with De Minaur cruising to victory 6-3 6-3. De Minaur has dropped only one set at Wimbledon so far against strong grass courter Jack Draper, while Garin has squeaked through by facing mostly clay-court specialists. We expect De Minaur to roll here and set up a potentially all-Australian quarterfinal.

Brandon Nakashima VS Nick Kyrgios

Nakashima/Kyrgios Over 37.5 Total Games
Stake 2.5 Units
Minimum Odds 1.8
Best Book - UNIBET

This looks to be a mismatch on the surface, however, Kyrgios is one of those players who always attract public money. Kyrgios had a big win in his last match which is making people think he will roll here, but in reality, Kyrgios can be inconsistent from both match to match and even game to game. Nakashima has a big serve and will push Kyrgios all the way here and the past has told us Kyrgios enjoys a bit of pressure in his matches. We expect to see a fun match and if we could bet it, wed take the over on code violations.

Botic Van de Zandschulp VS Rafael Nadal

Zandschlup/Nadal Total Games Over 34.5
Stake 2.5 Units
Minimum Odds 1.8
Best Book - Topsport

Nadal looked simply sensational in his last match, however, his play outside of that match has been lacklustre to say the least. This may be Nadal building into the tournament or it may have just been a plus matchup for him. Vad de Zandschulp has broken out in the last year and is starting to play some brilliant tennis. Both players will enjoy playing a defensive style and we expect a long match here. The total is too low for this match so we will attack the over before it moves.

Alize Cornet VS Ajla Tomljanovic

Cornet/Tomljanovic Total Games Over 21.5
Stake 2.5 Units
Minimum Odds 1.8
Best Book - Topsport

This is going to be a great match that showcases a stronger tennis player in Tomljanovic against a veteran in Cornet who is enjoying some of the best tennis of her career right now. Cornet has victories over Kerber, Maria and Swiatek in her last 2 tournaments on grass and is really settling into a surface that hasn’t been kind to her over the years. Tomljanovic has the more powerful game here and will be able to push Cornet off the court with her groundstrokes, however its the error count that gets Tomljanovic unstuck. The over looks good here as this match sets up to go the distance.

Elena Rybakina VS Petra Martic

Rybakina/Martic Over 0.5 Total Tiebreakers
Stake 1.5 Units
Minimum Odds 2.5
Best Book - BET365

This is a terrific value play that has a narrative in this spot. In these two players’ six combined matches at Wimbledon so far, they have had at least one tiebreaker set in every match. Both ladies have beaten some strong opposition to get here and their comfort in winning tiebreaker sets increases the likelihood that they will see another one. Rybakina and Martic have met once before in a match-ending 7-6 7-6 so they are no strangers to seeing the tie breaks. This is a very particular market and not every book will carry it. If you cant get this market, we suggest taking an over 21.5, however it will be just the tiebreak bet on our records.

Kubler has played himself into form over the past few months and has taken a set off Fritz in their only previous match. Nakashima has the big serve and durability to trouble Kyrgios and sends the game long.

This looks to be a close match on paper, but when you dive into the respective player styles, Bouzkova has a strong advantage. Bouzkova is a very defensive player who commits very few unforced errors and is a gruelling player that stays in rallies. Garcia has shown that she gets unstuck in long rallies from the baseline and we see her having trouble with Bouzkova's “get it back no matter what” style.

Jannik Sinner VS John Isner

John Isner Win
Stake 2 Units
Minimum Odds 2.20
Best Book - BET365

John Isner has a game that is perfectly designed for the grass courts. Isner combines one of the biggest serves in the game with a terrific volley to win points quickly and be very hard to break. Sinner has shown all tournament that he struggles on the surface and although he has won 2 matches his footing on the grass looks slow. Sinner’s biggest weakness on the grass has been his serve which should allow Isner to catch a few break points, with his ability to end rallies quickly on the fast surface.

Tommy Paul VS Jiri Vesely

Paul/Vesely Total Games Over 38.5
Stake 2.5 Units
Minimum Odds 1.8
Best Book - Topsport

This is going to be a very enjoyable and underrated match to watch as we have 2 players who are quietly strong on the grass courts. Paul has blasted his way through to the 3rd round with 2 straight sets victories however they weren’t against the strongest of opposition on the surface. Vesely started fast then battled to an epic 5-set victory against Fokina in the last round who had his best match on the surface as well. Both of these players will be hard to break and the sets will go long.

Ugo Humbert VS David Goffin

Humbert/Goffin Total Games Over 39.5
Stake 2.5 Units
Minimum Odds 1.83
Best Book - Topsport

Humbert had a poor build-up to Wimbledon this year but made short work of gaining some form as he took care of Roland Garros runner-up Casper Ruud in the last round. Goffin enjoys the grass surface and is a former quarter-finalist here and has been granted an easy draw so far. We expect to see a lot of big serves and long rallies in this one.

Oscar Otte VS Carlos Alcaraz

Oscar Otte Win
Stake 2 Units
Minimum Odds 3.0
Best Book - UNIBET

Oscar Otte is in the midst of a breakout season as he looks to continue his excellent run on the grass courts. Otte‘s game is perfectly set up for the grass courts with a strong serve and a hard low backhand that skids when it hits the ground making it more difficult to gain power on the return. Alcaraz is also in a breakout season however grass will be his weakest surface as he struggles for footing and getting used to the conditions. We are getting terrific odds on Otte here who has all the tools to get the job done and make a push into week 2.

Cameron Norrie VS Steve Johnson

Steve Johnson Win
Stake 1.5 Units
Minimum Odds 3.3
Best Book - UNIBET

When you think of Cam Norrie most people think he’s a Brit that’s had reasonable success before and should be strong on the grass courts like Andy Murray. However, this couldn’t be further from the truth as Norrie is a lot stronger on the clay courts and has a lot more similarities to Nadal than Murray. Norrie has never reached the heights that were expected of him and a tough player on grass like Johnson will likely expose his ability on the surface. Johnson has a terrific record against left-handed players as well, winning at almost a 66% rate at the tour level.

Tatjana Maria VS Maria Sakkari

Tatjana Maria Over 7.5 Games
Stake 2.5 Units
Minimum Odds 1.75
Best Book - Topsport

This line for Maria’s games is baffling to us as she has shown great ability on the grass throughout her career and has already beaten a strong grasscourt player in Cirstea. We can see Maria pushing to take at least a set here, but the low 7.5 games number is too good to pass up. Sakkari is much stronger on the other surfaces than grass.

Angelique Kerber VS Elise Mertens

Angelique Kerber Win 2-0
Stake 2.5 Units
Minimum Odds 1.8
Best Book - Sportsbet

Angelique Kerber picks up where she left off every time she steps foot on the grass courts. Kerber has come through with little resistance after enjoying a good build-up to the tournament. Kerber should make quick work of Mertens here.

Shuai Zhang VS Caroline Garcia

Zhang/Garcia 3 Total Sets
Stake 2 Units
Minimum Odds 2.2
Best Book - BET365

This looks like a terrific match that should go long. Zhang is a wily player who is hard to match up against and has the head-to-head edge over Garcia. Garcia is the stronger player on grass and is enjoying a strong grasscourt season so far. This has all the makings of a match that needs the deciding set.

Jordan Thompson VS Stefanos Tsitipas

Jordan Thompson Win
Stake 1 Unit
Minimum Odds 4.4
Best Book - UNIBET

We love fading Tsitipas on the grass courts as his game is not suited to the surface. We were close to fading him in round 1, but his opponent wasn’t tour-level quality and he still made Tsitipas sweat. Thompson is a solid grass court player and has shown ability at the Grand Slam level before. Thompson sets up to be the next unseeded player to knock Tsitipas out of a Grand Slam.

Benjamin Bonzi VS Jenson Brooksby

Bonzi/Brooksby Total Games Over 39.5
Stake 2.5 Units
Minimum Odds 1.83

This match has 2 hard-hitting players with big serves. This has the feel of a long drawn-out match where we see multiple tie breakers and very few breaks of serve. This will be a tight match and the winner may need a bit of luck to get the job done.

Denis Shapovalov VS Brandon Nakashima

Shapovalov/Nakashima Total Games Over 39.5
Stake 2.5 Units
Minimum Odds 1.83

Shapovalov isn’t the strongest player on the grass courts, however, he has a great ability to prolong matches. This is another match where we expect both players to go deep and the sets to go long.

Bianca Andreescu VS Elena Rybakina

Andreescu/Rybakina 3 Total Sets

Best Book - Lads/Neds

Andreescu is a player who has only recently returned from an absence and has used her last few tournaments to play herself into some form. Rybakina is a player who keeps rising and will soon be a household name. Both of these ladies have historically played a lot of long matches throughout their careers and we expect this one to play out the same.

Viktorija Golubic VS Barbora Krejcikova

Viktorija Golubic Win
Stake 2 Units
Minimum Odds 2.3
Best Book - BET365

This is a play we are really excited for today as Golubic has a lot of points in her favour. Golubic is a terrific grasscourt player and holds a great record on the surface. Krejcikova is predominantly a clay court and doubles player who still holds a high ranking due to a breakout season last year. Krejcikova is only just returning from an injury she suffered in February and has lost 2 of her 3 matches since returning. Somewhat like the previous bet, this is SInner’s worst surface. He dropped a set against the corpse of Wawrinka and looked shakey on his ground strokes. Thiago Monteiro VS Jaume Munar

John Millman VS Miomir Kecmanovic

John Millman Win

Minimum Odds 2.4
Best Book - BET365

This is as much a play against Kecmanovic as it is on Millman. Kecmanovic is a poor grass-court player and will show his dislike for the surface in this match. Millman is a good player to follow on the grass with a positive record and some solid scalps already this grass-court season.

If Alcaraz does win he has an easy draw ahead of him and we may get some juicy lines in the future to fade him.

Fognini has always been strong at Wimbledon and although he is getting long in the tooth he has been given a favourable first-round matchup. Wimbledon is a tournament that favours its veterans who are used to playing on the fast surface and Fognini has seen this grass plenty before.

Iga Swiatek VS The Field - The Field
&
Novak Djokovic VS The Field - Novak Djokovic
Stake 3 Units
Minimum Odds 2.50
Best Book - Topsport

This is a nice multi that we really like to get us extra juice. Firstly with Swiatek, she is really not the greatest player on the grass courts. Sure Swiatek is on an unbelievable run and she has won a junior title here before, but these odds are just too good here to take the field. The Lady’s draw is wide open and any of 20+ Ladies could win the title. In the Men’s draw, it is completely the opposite where we can really only see 3-4 players with a chance to even be in the title conversation. Of these players, Djokovic who is the 3-time defending champion has the easiest run to the final and is showing all the right things in his practice sessions.

Pick The Finalists
Novak Djokovic & Matteo Berrettini
Stake 1 Unit
Best Book - BET365

Djokovic has a straightforward run to the final and it comes down to who will meet him there. Berrettini lost to Djokovic in the final last year and has come on strong in the grass season winning the 2 tournaments he has played in. Berrettini quietly has an unbelievable record on grass recording a massive 32-3 record on the surface since 2018. Berrettini will have two potential difficult matches in the quarter and semi-finals where he could face a combination of Felix, Kyrgios, Cilic or Nadal, however, we have him getting past any of these players.

Men’s Quarter 2 Winner
- Hubert Hurkacz
Stake 1.5 Units
Best Book - Lads/Neds

Hurkacz is a terrific grass-court player and fought through to the semi-final here last year. Hurkacz was dominant in winning Halle beating a strong field to a dominant tournament win. Hurkacz has drawn the easiest quarter in the Men’s draw where the inconsistent Cam Norrie may be his biggest challenge.

Ladies Quarter 3 Winner
- Ons Jabeur
Stake 1 Unit
Best Book - Sportsbet

Jabeur is a brilliant grasscourt player who will be looking to beat her quarter-final appearance from last year. Jabeur is coming off a victory in Berlin where she beat Coco Gauff and Belinda Bencic who are both strong on grass. Jabeur’s biggest challenge will come from the ageing Angelique Kerber, but we like the form that Jabeur has shown this year to get the job done.
