Friday 21st May
Warriors VS West Tigers
David Nofoluma 2+ Tries - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 4.3, Best Book Pointsbet
David Nofoluma has been up and down this season, but this is generally the time of the year he starts to play like one of the best wingers in the comp. Nofo gets a brilliant matchup this week against the Warriors who have given up the most tries in the league to right-wingers. There will be a late change this week which will send Roger Tuivasa-Sheck presumably to the right-wing for the Warriors, which will cause the ball to get shifted to Nofos wing more often. The Warriors have been great at defending centres this season which should mean Adam Doueihi can get the opposition winger drawn off his line to open up the lane for Nofoluma to score. David Nofoluma will also be celebrating his 150th game. Best odds at Pointsbet.
Sharks VS Dragons
Dragons Win - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 2.85, Best Book - BET365
The Dragons are dealing with a lot of missing players this week and if this was against any other team I wouldn’t be backing them. The Dragons get a nice matchup this week even with their absentees and let’s be honest, Cronulla has been pretty trash over the past couple of months. We are getting an over the odds number on the Dragons because of Joe Public staking everything they have on the Sharks. We are still going relatively conservative here, but I believe the Dragons will surprise a lot of people this week. Best odds at BET365.
Max Feagai 2+ Tries - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 6.0, Best Book - Sportsbet
Max Feagai has been in excellent form this season in NSW Cup and has been a bright spot in what has generally been a poor team. This form has transferred over to the NRL when he has been granted the opportunity. The Sharks left edge has been very poor defensively lately and I can’t see that changing this week. Best odds at Sportsbet.
Thursday 20th May
Cowboys VS Knights
Cowboys 1-12, Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 2.9, Best Book - Topsport
The Cowboys are very slowly playing themselves into enough form to avoid the wooden spoon. Don’t get me wrong, this is still not a good football side but they are better than what we saw at the start of the season. The Knights have managed to put a lot of embarrassing performances together this season and are in a damage control scenario. The Cowboys are yet to blow any teams off the park and I can’t see it happening for a while due to their team make-up. The 4 games the Cowboys have won this season have all been by 12 points or less. I look forward to seeing a middle dominating match as these two forward packs go head to head. Best odds at Topsport.
