UFC London Betting Tips

How To

  1. Use Betting Units. Set your total amount of money to bet with for today and divided it by 100. That is how much each unit is. E.G if you have $1000 / 100 = $10 Units.

  2. Follow the staking advice.

  3. Check the number of units to stake in the caption of each photo. See the example below.

  4. Always try to use the Best Odds Bookmaker.

UFC London
Volkov
VS
Aspinall

Sunday 20th March

Nikita Krylov VS Paul Craig

Paul Craig Via Sub - Stake 0.5 Units, Minimum Odds 4.0, Best Book - UNIBET

This is a valuable bet where I am learning more towards Krylov to win the fight. We are getting a number on the Craig sub prop that is much too high. Craig has won 11 of his 15 wins via sub and has won them all in the distance. Craig is one of the best Jiu-Jitsu artists in the UFC and has brilliant transitioning skills. Krylov should be ahead if he keeps his cool and doesn't fall into Craig's guard, but he has shown low fight IQ and attempted to wrestle with other submission specialists. This number is just too high not to grab a piece of.

Gunnar Nelson VS Takashi Sato

Gunnar Nelson Via Sub - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 1.75, Best Book - Pointsbet

Gunnar Nelson is a submission specialist with excellent wrestling skills and likes to get his opposition out of there quickly. Takashi Sato has taken this fight on short notice and has a massive hole in his game in grappling. By submission, Sato has lost 3 of his four losses and gets potentially his biggest grappling test in this match. Nelson has been out of the octagon for almost two and a half years. If Nelson were a points or power fighter, I would want no part of him with such a big layoff, but with the way Nelson grapples, it will likely only take one successful takedown to get this to the ground and get Sato to tap. Sato is just not good enough when this gets to the mat. Nelson has won 12 of his 17 wins by submission and won 16 times in the distance.

Paddy Pimblett VS Rodrigo Vargas

Paddy Pimblett Via Sub - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 2.6, Best Book - Topsport

The hype train is real with Paddy the Baddy, and it's easy to get behind him while he is fed cans. After a KO in his first UFC fight, many people forget that Pimblett is a grappler first and foremost, and his striking is still a work in progress. Vargas has shown his wrestling is one of the weaker parts of his game, and the grappling will be Paddy's easiest way to victory. Pimblett looks to be an easy fighter to back until he faces worthy opposition.

Arnold Allen VS Dan Hooker

Dan Hooker Win - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - UNIBET

Dan Hooker is moving down to featherweight for this fight, and a lot of the argument is that he is cutting too much weight. This isn't true when you have followed Hooker's career as he always was a 145-pound fighter who moved up to lightweight during his peak fighting days. There is a massive difference in the competition each of these fighters has fought, and Hooker has an all-round better MMA game. I expect Hooker to get this done at the scorecards, but I can't rule out his power coming with him and getting Allen out early.

Alexander Volkov VS Tom Aspinall

Alexander Volkov Win - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - BET365

Tom Aspinall has a massive hype train behind him, and his quick knockouts make him a fan favourite. Aspinall has fought nothing but cans, depending on where you stand on Sergey Spivak and is facing a huge step up in competition this week against the 6'7" Russian. Volkov has been fighting only the best in the division and has stood toe to toe with each of them. Although Volkov's volume has let him down at times, he will have a huge advantage here in the cardio aspect. Aspinall is an untested fighter who hasn't seen the 3rd round or fought in front of fans in the UFC. There is every chance that Aspinall could prove that he is one of the best in the division by getting an early KO of Volkov, but if this fight gets extended even into the 2nd round, Volkov will begin to take over. There are too many question marks on Aspinall at this early stage of his career.
