How To

  1. Use Betting Units. Set your total amount of money to bet with for today and divided it by 100. That is how much each unit is. E.G if you have $1000 / 100 = $10 Units.

  2. Follow the staking advice.

  3. Check the number of units to stake in the caption of each photo. See the example below.

  4. Always try to use the Best Odds Bookmaker.

VS
Prochazka

Sunday 12th June

Silvana Gomez Juarez VS Na Liang

Na Liang Via Sub in RD1 or 2 - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.3, Best Book - Lads/Neds

We have two fighters here who are both relatively low level however we are getting a tonne of upside on Na who has been given the perfect situation to succeed. Na is a fighter who comes out all guns blazing, likes to get the fight to the mat and has a fondness for armbars. Na has a very small gas tank which is why we are just looking at the first two rounds here as if the fight gets to the third round Na will likely be losing. Na has won 10 of her 19 wins by submission including 6 by armbar, and Gomez Juarez is coming off not only back-to-back sub losses but back-to-back armbars. This feels like a set-up fight for Na who will also be the relatively local fighter as this card is in Singapore.

Jack Della Maddalena VS Ramazan Emeev

Jack Della Maddalena Via KO/TKO - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.3, Best Book - Pointsbet

This isn't a huge play but it's well worth it at the odds with Della Maddalena looking like a terrific up-and-coming prospect. There are a few red flags that are stopping us from taking a big swing here, namely Maddalenas grappling game, and the big step up in competition he is making. Maddalena has a terrific striking and has more power than any of Emeevs recent opponents. Emeev is a good grappler, but he isn't the best at keeping his opponent on the mat, so Maddalena will have plenty of chances to get back to his feet. Maddalena's power is real and he goes all-in when he sniffs blood in the water, so we'll take the over-the-odds KO price here.

Jake Matthews VS Andre Fialho

Jake Matthews Win - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 2.0, Best Book - BET365

Andre Fialho is the fan favourite who has already fought three times this year including two early KO wins in his last two fights. These recent victories have influenced this line and it's giving us a terrific price on Matthews who should be at pick-em odds or even a slight favourite. When breaking this fight down we have to first look at the style of Fialho. Fialho is a KO or bust fighter who has poor grappling and doesn't throw a lot of volumes which makes it difficult for him to win decisions if he doesn't get knockdowns. Matthews is a well-rounded fighter who was a terrific prospect who has walked into some tough matchups during his time in the UFC. Matthews will hold the advantage on the mat, with the volume and I trust the chin of Matthews more than Fialhos. Fialho has a puncher's chance of course with his power, however, Matthews can win this fight in any direction this fight goes.

Weili Zhang VS Joanna Jedrzejczyk

Weili Zhang Via Decision - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 2.25, Best Book - Pointsbet

This is a rematch of one of the greatest women's UFC fights of all time. In the original fight, Zhang won in a split decision, however, since then Zhang has improved even though she has lost back-to-back fights against Thug Rose. Jedrzejczyk has not been in the octagon since she lost to Zhang over two years ago. I did not think Jedrzejczyk would be coming back to the UFC after she got certain enhancements and her time out of the cage at this stage of her career cant really be seen as a time where she will be making improvements. Zhang will be throwing the harder shots and the gas tank of Joanna may become a slight issue after such a long time off.

Glover Teixeira VS Jiri Prochazka

Glover Teixeira Via Sub - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 4.0, Best Book - Lads/Neds

Jiri Prochazka is an extremely powerful fighter, who moves well early in the fight, has huge power and has a likeable personality. Glover Teixeira has everything else including the light heavyweight belt, and the fact he is a heavy underdog is very disrespectful for a fighter whos on such a dominant run. There are two ways this fight can go, either Jiri gets an early KO or Glover gets this fight to the mat and locks up a submission. Jiri is a poor grappler and if this fight hits the mat it will likely be over very quickly, so getting a $5.50 line for Glover by submission is too good to pass up. This fight will likely not last long and I trust Glover's chin, who always seems to take a few shots before taking over the fight. Jiri has a habit of leaning forward and trying to spring forward over his centre of gravity, which is great against other strikers, however, this will likely give Teixeira his openings to secure the takedowns. In a vacuum Prochazka is likely the better fighter, however, styles make fights and Teixeira has all the tools to defend his belt.
