This card looks to be much better viewing than to bet on. I have taken my favourite plays for our card which happen to mostly be on the Main Card. A lot of the fights on the undercard project to play out very close or are at lines that are unplayable. We will attack a more predictable Main Card where we get some excellent betting opportunities. Next week’s card of Santos VS Ankalaev will have a lot more fights for us to attack.

Devonte Smith VS Ludovit Klein
Jalin Turner VS Jamie Mullarkey

Devonte Smith and Ludovit Klein have a combined record of 35 fights in which only 2 have lasted to the judge’s scorecards. These are both kill or be killed fighters who will be leaving everything in the cage. Klein will be moving up a weight class on short notice for this bout but has a lethal head kick that could easily put down the chinny Smith. Smith comes out swinging from the bell and has seen the 2nd round only twice in his last 7 fights. This fight will be full-on action for as long as it lasts.
Much like Klein and Smith only 5 of Turner and Mullarkeys 34 combined fights have managed to see the scorecards. Turner is a well-rounded prospect who continues to show improvements each time he steps into the cage. Although he is not the most equipped wrestler, his long frame allows him to snatch up submission attempts after knocking his opponent down. Mullarkey is a brawler who has been slowly improving his wrestling. I would not be surprised if these fighters stand and bang in the centre of the cage until someone falls.
Main Card
Sergey Spivak VS Greg Hardy

This one is simple for me, apart from the fact that I don’t believe either of these fighters is top tier calibre they each have their unique paths to victory. Greg Hardy has his best chance of winning by knocking Spivak out early before he gasses himself. Hardy will have a huge size and weight advantage on Spivak and because of his gas tank and asthma issues, he knows he has to get this fight over early. Hardy had a huge weight cut to get down to the 266-pound limit, but in turn, he will likely shoot back up to close to 290 pounds by fight time, having a 40+ pound weight advantage on Spivak. If Hardy doesn’t get this done early I don’t like his chances of finding a victory in any other way.
Kevin Holland VS Alex Oliviera

Kevin Holland will be having his first fight down at welterweight, but he looked brilliant on the scales today. Oliviera is an ageing fighter who is in the twilight of his career. Holland has been working on his wrestling a lot and should be able to negate Olivieras wrestling ability. Holland has basically been given a lay up fight here and could very well end Olivieras career who is on a 3 fight losing streak and lost 6 of his last 8.
Rafael dos Anjos VS Renato Moicano

This is more of a fade on Moicano than a play on dos Anjos but in saying that dos Anjos looked completely jacked today. Moicano fought a couple of weeks ago and had moved back to Brazil before getting the call to come back to the states on short notice. Moicano had already begun to relax and was chilling in the pool when he got the short notice call, before getting back to America and dropping 20 pounds within a couple of days. Moicano has always had gas tank issues and has been a chinny fighter in the past. Moicano has not even seen the 3rd round in his last 7 fights and if this fight gets extended I expect him to be under a great amount of distress against the former champion.
Colby Covington by Decision - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.8, Best Book - Lads/Neds
If anyone hasnt seen the videos about the Colby Masvidal rivalry, I highly reccommend checking them out. With the rivalry aside, Colby is the cardio king and is easily the 2nd best fighter in the division after Usman. Colby will know his best path to victory and will move to the wrestling early and just smother Masvidal. Masvidals only chance of victory will be early as I cant see him being able to keep up with Colbys relentless gas tank.
