Caveman’s Tips

How To

  1. Use Betting Units. Set your total amount of money to bet with for today and divided it by 100. That is how much each unit is. E.G if you have $1000 / 100 = $10 Units.

  2. Follow the staking advice.

  3. Check the number of units to stake in the caption of each photo.

  4. Always try to use the Best Odds advised.

Hi, team were finally here at the first game week of the season. It feels like football hasn’t been gone for long with the Euros and Olympics feeding our fix during the break. This season I will be releasing all of my Best Bets so we can beat the bookies together. I have been following the premier league for as long as I can remember and successfully betting and tipping the competition over the last few seasons. This year is going to be great as we get the crowds back, which usually helps us to get excellent value out of the bookies as the home dogs start to bark. I will not be releasing a tip on every game as I have found that’s not a successful blueprint to building profit. I hope you all enjoy the Premier League this season and join me in continuing to build our bankroll on the Caveman Tips product!!

Each week I will be releasing my tips and predictions video detailing where I stand on each and every game of the season. This is not a betting video but merely my predictions. This does however break down my thoughts on why I expect games might turn out certain ways. Some of our bets may contrast what is said in these videos as we find increased value in betting on the other side. Subscribe to Caveman_Bets on youtube so you can see when this and my other content drops.

Premier League

Gameweek 1 of 38

All times are in AEST

Sunday 15th August

Newcastle VS West Ham @ 23:00

Newcastle Win - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.05, Best Book - Sportmarket

What a record Newcastle have over West Ham, with wins in 4 of their last 5 matchups and 7 of their last 10. Newcastle grabbed the double over West Ham last season including an away victory in their week 1 tilt 2-0. Newcastle has a great record of starting strong in the premier league, winning their last 5 opening fixtures and holding a clean sheet in their last 4. West Ham on the other hand has lost their last 5 opening week fixtures. The only issue for Newcastle is they will be down to their #3 goalkeeper, although Newcastle has a history of developing good goalkeepers and Woodman has had plenty of loan experience. The home ground advantage looks to be back and in full force with 6 of 8 home teams winning this weekend, including some good upsets by Brentford and Watford.

Saturday 14th August

Brentford VS Arsenal @ 05:00

Arsenal Win - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.78, Best Book - Sportmarket

Arsenal is entering a season where they need to return to relevance or risk falling further out of relevance. A statement win over promoted side Brentford will help them to ease some of the criticism. Arsenal has a lineup that is packed full of high upside young players and they began to show their potential at the end of last season. Promoted sides usually don’t fare well in the opening week of the season, as the nerves and emotion get to them.

Manchester United VS Leeds @ 21:30

Manchester United Win & Score before 50 Minutes - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 3.0, Best Book - Pointsbet

This is a special bet found at Pointsbet only. There is not too much value betting on Manchester United outright but the Pointsbet special offers us an enticing view on the match. The last 5 times that Manchester United have played in the opening week of the competition they have a record of 5-0 and have scored in the first half of each of their matches. With fans in the stand, this is going to pump up the Red Devils to get on the scoresheet early. In this fixture last season, United managed a 6-2 victory with 3 early goals.

Sunday 15th August

Everton VS Southampton @ 00:00

Everton Win - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.85, Best Book - Sportmarket

Everton is entering the season with a very similar team that they had last season, minus Gylfi Sigurdsson, but that’s all ill say about that. On the other hand, Southampton will likely be missing their 2 best players from the last campaign, with James Ward-Prowse likely out with injury and Danny Ings off to greener pastures. This leaves Southampton with a very poor attacking front and few options to help progress the ball. Defensively Southampton is terrible after conceding the second-most goals last season. Everton has a slight question mark over striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but I expect him to play after resting up over the last week.

Leicester VS Wolves @ 00:00

Wolves Win - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 5.0, Best Book - Sportmarket

Leicester is coming into this season with a lot more question marks than they usually have in week 1. The Leicester defence is already on life support with 3 regular first-teamers expected to miss week 1 which will force them into a defensive tussle. Wolves have a new coach but are still built from back to front and will be able to play a hard-pressing game to attack the poor Foxes defence. Wolves get talisman striker Raul Jiminez back this season and he will need to be the answer to their goal deficit from last season. I’m not a huge fan of the Leicester attack this season as we began to see regression from Jamie Vardy last season. The Foxes best chance may be if they move Harrison Barnes into a high attacking role, which I can’t see them doing. There is great value on Wolves here in a match that should be closer to a pick’em.

I recommend opening a Sportmarket account to get the best odds for the Premier League. You can find them HERE. If you need any help or advice just write to anyone from the BSB crew and we will gladly assist you.
