Orion Cosce VS Blood Diamond (Mike Mathetha)

We have two fighters who are notorious finishers and both have glaring weaknesses which the other can expose. Blood Diamond has a huge weakness in grappling and can easily be submitted once taken down. Cosce came in overweight and looked terrible on the scales showing hell has gas tank issues and likely a slightly softer chin. Both fighters will likely come out fast and will want to press their advantages as quickly as possible. This line is much too high in a fight that is unlikely to go the distance.

Drakkar Klose VS Rafa Garcia

After getting a big KO in his last fight, we're getting a better than usual line on Klose via decision. Klose has a terrific striking and will carry the UFC experience into this fight. Garcia is a fighter I was very excited about when he entered the UFC however he has been disappointed so far and even in his wins has shown issues against poor competition. Garcia will be on short notice and has shown cardio issues in the past. To Garcia's credit, he has not been finished in his career and Klose is generally a decision machine with 5 of his 6 wins in the UFC coming via decision.

Magomed Ankalaev VS Anthony Smith

We've seen plenty of Ankalaev now and we know what his game plan is. Ankalaev is going to strike at the start of each round then get a takedown and burn the clock down with his wrestling. Smith is a strong fighter, however, he tends to stay on his back instead of trying to get back to his feet and that will be his undoing here. Smith does have a chance early if he can get to Ankalaevs back, however, I can't see Ankalaev giving this up as he's getting closer to a title shot.

Alexandre Pantoja VS Alex Perez

There are two ways this fight can go and were getting a great number to take the two most likely outcomes. Pantoja is an incredibly durable fighter who has terrific grappling and has shown a strong fight IQ. If Pantoja can get this fight to the mat then he has a great chance to start chaining up submission attempts. If Perez can keep the fight on the feet then his leg kicks and cardio will likely work Pantoja over as he starts to win rounds on the feet. A great number here for both likely outcomes.

Brandon Moreno VS Kai Kara-France

As much as id like to be on Kara-France here he is behind Moreno in almost every aspect of the game. Kara-France is a great fighter with hard strikes, strong takedown defence and high fight IQ, however, Moreno is slightly better at all of these things. Moreno has a chance to get the fight to the mat if he can get through Kara-France's strong takedown defence and will be the better wrestler. Moreno has a better gas tank than Kara-France and I can see him easily taking the later rounds. Kara-France can make this fight close, but Moreno will just want it more as he takes the next step to getting the belt back.
