State of Origin Game 2

How To

  1. Use Betting Units. Set your total amount of money to bet with for today and divided it by 100. That is how much each unit is. E.G if you have $1000 / 100 = $10 Units.

  2. Follow the staking advice. Anyone who only put the same amount on every bet would have made less than 50% of the profit made by following our Staking Advice and Volume of Bets.

  3. Check the number of units to stake in the caption of each photo. See the example below.

  4. Check the Best Bookie.

Sunday 27th June

Game 2 is here after the Blues had a dominating win in the first battle. This week I am predicting the Maroons to be a lot more competitive than they were last time out. Our bets this week are skewed towards the Queensland side due to several factors. 1) I like the make up of the Maroons this week a lot more than in game 1. We see a much stronger forward pack and they booted game 1 liability Xavier Coates. 2) Value!! It is going to be very difficult to make money betting on the Blues this week. We saw a very unique high scoring and one sided match in game 1 and the bookies are now taking their premium on anyone who thinks game 2 will play out the same. 3) History. Now this is definitely the weakest of the 3 arguments here but history definitely favors the Maroons to bounce back. Suncorp stadium has always been Queensland’s fortress and we have seen them win many games here when they have gone in with the weaker side. As well as this the history of the sport in general shows the losing team will almost always bounce back in game 2. When a team is blown out in game 1, then game 2 usually goes the other way or the winning team has a much smaller victory. In fact never in the history of State of Origin has a team lost game 1 by 14 or more points then lost game 2 by 14 or more points.

Disclaimer: We have now found out that Valentine Holmes will be moving to fullback after the late injury to Reece Walsh. Holmes does not have the same try-scoring record at fullback as he does on the wing and this makes all of the Holmes bets under the odds. If you have not yet placed them I would either look to fade the Holmes bets or replace them with Ronaldo Mulitalo.
