Best Bets

I have the Panthers as slight favourites in the final, and I like this bet if you don’t want to lay the points with them. The Panthers will struggle to come back in the second half if they are down at the break. The Panthers defence has been rock solid in the first half of matches this season so I expect them to fire in a terrific first-half display.

I find it difficult to see the Panthers walk away with a big win here and if they do get ahead by a couple of tries the Bunnies can pin them back late.

Cleary has been a try-scoring machine all season and has already scored 3 tries against the Bunnies this season. The Bunnies havnt’t had the best defence against running halves this season and Cleary will want to try and win this match on his own back.

Blake Taaffe hasn’t been a prolific try-scorer in his limited action this season, but we are getting an over the odds price for what is actually a good matchup for him with the Panthers conceding more tries to fullbacks this season than any other position.

A square play here as Cleary is the odds on favourite for the CCM this year. If Cleary plays like he has through the majority of the season it will be tough to give this to anyone else with a Panthers win. Cleary even has a chance to take this in a loss if he leaves everything out on the field.

A great value plays here on Yeo who has been one of the form players all season. Yeo is my favourite forward to have a chance at the CCM this year and will be involved in everything that Penrith does well.
