Match-up Insight

I know what you are thinking, yes, these offences are terrible, but their defences aren't as bad, they're even worse.

I suspect this could be Adam Gase's last game as an NFL coach, with an application to Burger king sitting under his play sheet. The majority of play-makers are gone for both teams, Rypien will be the QB for the Broncos, and his college tape is mixed at best. He can get the ball out fast but struggles to progress through his reads and like a ten-year-old playing Madden often tries to force it to his pre-snap read 1. Expect to see a lot of short dink and dunk throws and seams to his Tight-End.

The Broncos run game is one difference between these teams, the Broncos have faced some stout run defence and played from behind for most of the season. It's easy to forget how Elway constructs this offence. There's a reason Elway went and got Melvin Gordon when he already had Lyndsey on the roster; Melvin Gordon is going to be this offence's bell cow.Overall it is challenging to find the positive numbers in this match-up. Both offences look pedestrian but may fire up with loser expected to make changes.  With the #firegase campaign gathering steam, the Jets could look to throw in this game in the search for the greater good.

The Last Word

Just remember betting on this game means you are betting on an Undrafted Free-Agent Quarter-Back with progression issues vs the New York Jets, proceed with caution.
